Terms of Service

1. About LootLab

LootLab (lootlab.lol) is a marketplace where players buy and sell Roblox game items with each other. It's run by LootLab, based in the United Kingdom. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean LootLab, and "you" means you. You can contact us at alfieway67@gmail.com.

LootLab isn't part of, endorsed by or connected to Roblox Corporation or any game studio. Game names are only used to describe what's being sold.

2. Who can use LootLab

  • You must be at least 13 years old.
  • One account per person. Use a real email address that you can get into, and keep your password to yourself. Never use your Roblox password on LootLab.
  • You're responsible for what happens on your account. If you think someone else has got into it, tell us straight away.

3. Roblox's rules and your Roblox account

Roblox's own Terms of Use say that Robux and Roblox items should only be used, bought or traded through Roblox, and that dealing in them anywhere else can get an account suspended or closed. Buying or selling Roblox items for real money on LootLab is dealing outside Roblox. That means Roblox could suspend or ban the Roblox accounts involved, or take items away.

You use LootLab knowing this. We can't undo anything Roblox decides, and we can't pay you back for a Roblox account or items that Roblox takes away. Games change too: their developers can change, remove or devalue items, or turn off trading, and that isn't up to us.

4. Buying

  • Sellers set their own prices, in pounds (£).
  • Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay: a card fee of 1.5% + 20p is added at checkout. Card payments start at £0.30.
  • From your LootLab balance: no fees.
  • When you pay, LootLab holds the money. The seller doesn't get it until the order is confirmed.
  • Give us your Roblox username, not your display name. An item sent to the username you gave counts as delivered.
  • The seller has 3 days (72 hours) to send your item and mark it as sent. If they don't, you're refunded automatically. A seller can also cancel before sending, which refunds you too.
  • Once it's marked as sent, you have 2 days (48 hours) to check and press Confirm, or to report a problem in the order chat. If you do neither, the order confirms itself and the seller is paid, so check your inventory or mailbox soon.
  • If something's wrong, report it in the order chat before the time runs out. LootLab support will look at the chat, the screenshots and anything else both of you share, then decide whether you get a refund or the seller gets paid.
  • Refunds go back the way you paid: to your card (including the card fee) or to your LootLab balance. Card refunds can take a few working days to show up.
  • Got a problem with a payment? Please talk to us before going to your bank, because it's usually much quicker. A chargeback freezes the order while it's looked into. Opening one for an order you did receive is fraud, and we'll close the account.

5. Selling

  • Only list items you own and can send. Describe them honestly, and use your own photo or screenshot of the item.
  • When something sells, send it within 3 days (72 hours) and mark it as sent, ideally with a screenshot as proof. If you can't send it, cancel the order so the buyer gets their money back.
  • Seller fee: 3% of each sale, taken from your share when the sale is confirmed. LootLab Pro members pay no seller fee.
  • Your share goes on your LootLab balance when the buyer confirms, or when their time to check runs out.
  • Withdrawing: by bank transfer to a UK bank account, from £5.00 (a fee of £0.50 comes off each bank withdrawal). Or as Robux, by us buying a gamepass that you make, from £1.00: you get 80 Robux for every £1, and we price the pass so you get the full amount after Roblox takes its cut.
  • We aim to send each payout within 3 working days of your request. We check every payout, and we may hold one while we look into fraud, a chargeback, a report or a broken rule.
  • If a buyer's bank takes back a payment after you've been paid, that amount can come off your balance while it's sorted out, and goes back on if the chargeback is won. If your balance goes below zero, you owe that amount to LootLab, and your next sales pay it off first.
  • You're responsible for any tax on what you earn.

6. Your balance, top-ups and deposits

Your balance can hold two kinds of money:

  • Money from your sales. You can spend it or withdraw it.
  • Money you've added yourself (bank top-ups or crypto deposits), plus refunds of orders paid with that money. You can spend it on items, but you can't withdraw it. This stops LootLab being used to move money from one person to another.

Crypto deposits: send USDC or USDT on the Base network only, from £1.00 to £1,000.00, and send the exact amount shown. The value in pounds is fixed at the rate shown when you start the deposit. Crypto sent on another network, or a different coin, can be lost for good, and we may not be able to get it back.

Want unspent money you added sent back? Contact us. Bank top-ups are refunded to the bank account they came from. Crypto is sent back to a wallet address you give us. We can only return money you haven't spent.

Your balance isn't a bank account. It doesn't earn interest, and it isn't protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

7. LootLab Pro and boosts

  • Pro costs £4.99 a month and renews each month until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Selling & payouts, and you keep your perks until the end of the month you've paid for. We may change Pro's perks or price. If the price goes up, we'll tell you before it applies, so you can cancel first.
  • Boosts cost £0.99 and put one listing at the top of Trending for 24 hours. A boost starts as soon as you pay.
  • If you're a consumer in the UK, you can change your mind within 14 days of buying Pro or a boost. Tell us and we'll refund you, minus a fair amount for the part you've already used.

8. Things you must not do

  • Scam anyone, list things you don't have, or use someone else's card, bank account or crypto.
  • Buy or sell Roblox accounts, or items that are stolen, duplicated ("duped") or got through exploits.
  • Take an order off LootLab, or ask to pay or be paid some other way. If you do, you lose the protection LootLab gives you.
  • Harass, threaten or bully anyone. Post hateful, sexual or violent content, or ask anyone for their passwords or personal details.
  • Use more than one account to get around a ban or a limit, use bots, or try to break or overload the site.
  • Use LootLab to launder money or for anything else illegal.
  • Post photos or words you don't have the right to use.

If you break these rules, we can remove listings, cancel orders, hold payouts, and suspend or close your account. If breaking them cost someone else or us money, we can use your balance to put that right. Where we can, we'll tell you why.

9. What you post

You keep ownership of the photos and words you post. You let LootLab show them on the site and use them to run LootLab. We can remove anything that breaks these terms.

Each order chat is between the buyer, the seller and LootLab support. Support can read order chats to sort out problems and keep LootLab safe.

10. Our responsibility to you

  • We'll run LootLab with reasonable care and skill, hold buyers' money until orders are confirmed, and try to sort out problems fairly.
  • Items are sold by sellers, not by LootLab. Each seller is responsible for their listing and for sending what they sold. Our part is holding the money and refunding buyers under the rules in section 4.
  • We aren't responsible for things outside our reasonable control, like changes to Roblox or a game, bans by Roblox, or outages at Stripe, our hosting provider or the Base network. We also aren't responsible for losses caused by you sharing your password or giving the wrong Roblox username.
  • If we are responsible for a loss, the most we'll pay is what was paid for the order involved or, for anything else, the fees you've paid LootLab in the last 12 months.
  • Nothing in these terms limits anything the law doesn't let us limit, such as liability for fraud, or for death or injury caused by negligence. Nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer.

11. Closing your account

  • You can stop using LootLab whenever you like. To close your account, email us. Once any open orders are finished, we'll pay out the sales money you're owed (minus anything you owe us) and send back unspent top-ups where we can.
  • We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other users.
  • If LootLab ever shuts down, we'll give notice, pay out what sellers are owed and send back unspent top-ups where we can.

12. Changes, questions and the law

  • We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters, we'll tell you on the site before it applies. If you keep using LootLab after a change, the new terms apply.
  • Questions or complaints: email alfieway67@gmail.com, or message LootLab Support in any order chat.
  • These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
